Frontline roles:

• Support Gridvision’s valued clients with first-rate electrical and project management support
• An uncompromising approach to safety through all phases of projects is essential
• Plan and manage work with integrity and diligence to achieve great results safely, on time and within budget
• Client sites are predominantly mines in Qld, but opportunities are foreseen at other site types across Australia
• Projects typically involve high voltage assets (powerlines, substations) but frequently extend to low voltage, control systems as well as general project management activities (eg managing multi-discipline work teams on the client’s behalf)

Office-based roles:

• Populate digital twin models of client powerline infrastructure with relevant information following powerline inspection campaigns
• Review and quality-assure inspection campaign outputs
• Formulate or contribute to client reports
• Assist clients with use of report outputs, digital twin and general enquiries/support
• Opportunities to perform or contribute to other client projects with engineering and project management support
• Opportunities to visit client sites
• Given the nature of this work, remote work options are available/encouraged

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with CPEng/RPEQ would be highly regarded, though other relevant qualifications and work experience will be considered
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience working on mine sites and/or heavy industrial settings will be highly regarded
• For office-based roles, experience with geospatial systems and/or high voltage powerlines will be highly regarded but not essential
